Try a version beside the live one

When a taf’s job or Card changes, the change is saved as a new version. You can try a version before it replaces the one that is working. The live version keeps running while you try.

Start a trial

Open the taf’s Versions and choose Try. Before it starts, the app shows what the version changes and the Card it would run under. Start trying needs Face ID.

While you try it:

You chat with the version in its own window. What it does is real: its calls go through KIFF under the trial’s Card.
The live version keeps working. Its schedule, Card and budget do not change.
The trial’s Card counts from zero. On a day you try a version, the taf can spend its live Card’s limits plus the trial’s.

The chat is marked not live. Before the first message it says what is new and suggests a task that uses the change.

End it

Install makes the version the live one, with its Card. It needs Face ID.
Go back ends the trial. The trial’s Card stops at once and the live version carries on.

Either way the trial’s chat is deleted, and Versions keeps one line about it. A trial no one uses ends by itself after 7 days.
